Wikipedia

I am so proud of myself that I edited a Wikipedia article. My topic was "Ann Dunwoody." I corrected her birth place.

Thanks Jay for your help.

Post the following on your blog: Make a list of three things that Twitter could be used:

1."It's not the specific people Twittering about their lives. It's all the people tweittering abut our world."

2. "The idea of many poeple's opinion and concerns and information being immediately available to everyone."

3. "Twitter can be an even more powerful news and opinion aggregator."

4. "It's tool for personal documentary."

These quotes are from Google.

Web 2.0 Lesson 2: RSS

1. "RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. When new events occur, they are broadcast over the feed to be picked up by whoever cares to watch for them or whoever has subscribe to the feed."

2. By the red symbol in the square; in Google on the right top corner tool bar (I know this answer is not complete).

3. I like the feature on the Google Reader with options for archiving (star symbol), subscribe, unsubscribe, management feed, etc.

4. I use both platforms: Official, work related sites on Outlook; personal, entertainment, news on iGoogle.

5. I like iGoogle since I can customize my screen and organize its content.

6. I subscribe BBC News Front Page World Edition and I was able to locate them.

My experience with learning RSS has been quite challenging. The Spellchecking editing tool was very helpful. Thanks to my colleagues who held my hands to get this far.

Byung's Blog 2.0

Welcome to Byung's Blog 2.0

This is so much fun ...

1. It was easy. Jay's instructions were very helpful.

2. I found that the "Sand Dollar" blog template did not work. I click "customize" tap and click "Pick new template" to change the template. It was a good exercise to try different blog templates.

3. I will definitely use blogging for my granddaughter's chronicle.

4. I like the "Librarian in Black."
